Language Class

Research has shown that the early learning of an additional or foreign language can help to strengthen literacy skills in children. There is evidence that the cognitive pattern in the brain of a bilingual person is different from that of people who only speak one language; and bilinguals are usually better at multitasking. Bilingual children are also found to have better writing, reading, math, memory, problem-solving skills, and tend to score higher on standardized tests.

In view of this, we believe that it is advantageous to expose children to an additional language from when they are younger and to this end French Language is an integral part of our learning for all the children at the school.
